Syncopated Snare Drum Accents

This funk drum lesson introduces syncopated snare drum accents. Up until now, the snare drum accents have been played on beats two and four. Often in funk music the snare drum accents are syncopated and fall before or after beats two and four. This lesson will familiarize you with accenting the snare drum on different beats.
