Three-voice Comping

All the jazz comping patterns up until now have used one or two voices i.e. only the bass drum and/or snare drum. In this jazz drum lesson, the hi-hat foot is used to comp together with the snare drum and bass drum. The hi-hat becomes a third comping voice, no longer playing only on beats 2 and 4.
